Teaser and the Firecat is the fifth studio album by singer Cat Stevens, released in 1971. The song Morning Has Broken, based on a poem by Eleanor Farjeon, features Rick Wakeman on piano. Wakeman created the melody on the piano, but was not credited for his work. It is also the title of a children's book written and illustrated by Stevens and featuring the characters illustrated on the album cover. Linda Lewis also provides backing vocals towards the end of the song How Can I Tell You. The young boy in the top hat is the Teaser, and the orange cat is the Firecat, trying to put the moon back together after it fell out of the sky. Published in 1972, the book has not been in print since the mid-1970s.
